Hi everyone! I am currently in school in Atlanta but last semester I was working full time in Athens. Every time I travel to Atlanta for work, I try to test out a different hotel. My favorite hotel I’ve stayed in so far is the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The inside is beautiful and very open. The room was modern, clean, and had a balcony as well! My friend and I could not stop saying how happy we were with our experience here. The hotel itself includes:
- 24 hour Stay Fit™ gym
- Outdoor pool / sundeck
- Valet parking
- 3 dining areas + a bar
Sway Restaurant inside the Hyatt:
Since I was alone one of the nights at the hotel, I decided to try the main hotel restaurant called Sway. First off, the staff was super nice. When I walked in, I told them I was dining by myself and the hostess asked if I wanted a newspaper which I accepted. In terms of food, I was impressed and happily satisfied with the food.
- As a starter, they give you complimentary biscuits and cornbread with butter and jelly. The corn bread was deliciousss and I wish I had some right now.
- For my main course, I ordered the meatloaf which came with mushrooms, collard greens, and mashed potatoes which I think had a bit of dijon mustard swirled into it.
The whole meal was filling and so good. Sway was definitely a great place to get a hearty meal.
