Hello everyone! Sorry I have been MIA for a little bit- it’s been crazy with school starting back. Anyways, the other day my friend and I met up for lunch at the Highland Bakery! There are several around downtown and it is such a delicious place!! I don’t know what it is about the food, whether if its because the food is toasted or there if there is some sort of special sauce, but everything here is delicious!

The other day I had the herb roasted turkey sandwich with a side of grits! The sandwich had apricot mayo, avocado, tomato, lettuce, balsamic vinagrette, and turkey on honey wheat bread. It is literally making my mouth water right now thinking about it. The total was only $7.50 which isn’t bad at all.

Other things I like to get here are the:

• Hummus sandwich
• Coffee
• Bagels

The desserts here also look amazing but I’ve never tried them so I definitely will have to in the future!
