Restaurant: Shake Shack

Hello everyone! This past weekend, my friends and I finally tried out Shake Shack. I had seen a lot of pictures posted about this place and wanted to know what the hype was about. Shake Shack started as a food stand in Manhattan but now has a restaurant in many locations and Atlanta as well (3035 Peachtree Rd NE Atlanta, GA 30305).

I really enjoyed the food but there is a long line at this restaurant and limited seating. We literally got the last open table when we went. There is roof top seating too so if you’re lucky you’ll get a table there (we tried, that’s why there’s an elevator picture below). Here’s the food we tried:

My friends and I really enjoyed the burgers. I had the Smokeshack one which cost $6.69 and is a cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper, and Shacksauce. It was so delicious- I loved how much flavor the pepper added. I just wish the burger was bigger because I finished it fairly quickly due to its size.
My friend and I shared cheese fries. I liked the crunch of the fries but the cheese was nothing too special. Cheese fries were $3.95. Next time, I plan on just getting the regular fries ($2.95).

Overall, I did enjoy eating here and thought the burger was delicious, but would recommend you go to a different burger place if you want to be full and be wow-ed. On the other hand, Shake Shack is known for their shakes which I didn’t end up trying so if you love milk shakes, then give this place a spin.

P.S. Does their logo remind any body else of Krabby Patties? Lol
