Who here loves Mexican food? Well I personally am always down for Mexican food so I was really excited when my friend and I decided to try PURE Tacqueria last Sunday! This place was recommended to me by one of my friends because it is her favorite restaurant! PURE offers “authentic Mexican food and award winning margaritas” and I had a great experience here! See what dishes my friend and I tried!PURE serves free chips and salsa (yay!) which is always a great way to start a meal. My friend and I love cheese so we ordered the Queso Gringo ($5.99) which “is a traditional mexican cheese dip served with pickled jalapeños”. We mixed the jalapeños into the cheese and it made for an awesome spicy dip- I definitely recommend it!

My friend tried the Carne Asada Tacos (2 tacos $10.99/ 3 tacos $12.99) and she really liked them! These were made with corn tortillas, “marinated & grilled all-natural steak, diced onion, cilantro, and guajillo salsa”. They were served with Mexican chorizo rice (we didn’t actually notice chorizo in here though) and charro beans!

When I was looking at the menu, I noticed the “Taquitos de Pollo”. I realized that I had never ordered taquitos before (besides at a QuikTrip) so I went ahead and ordered this dish ($9.99)! It was made with chipotle chicken, fundido cheese, salsa verde, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce! I loved how crunchy these were and how the ingredients definitely seemed high quality. For my sides, I also got Mexican chorizo rice and charro beans.

This restaurant is spacious and has a parking lot for easy parking! My friend and I went on a Sunday night and there wasn’t a wait! We sat outside where there was a cute little patio! Thankfully there were heaters out there so we never felt cold and could just enjoy our meal!

I definitely recommend going to PURE Tacqueria for a meal! I think the food could be compared to something you’d find at La Fonda or Tacqueria del Sol but it was still delicious and filling! Definitely will be planning to come back here!
