One place you should be familiar with especially if you work near or go to Georgia Tech is Cypress Pint & Plate! I typically come here for appetizers and a beer but have also come once before for their brunch (see review here). They constantly have weekly specials (see here) so you’re bound to leave full and happy. I think the food does the talking for this restaurant so let’s get right into the dishes I’ve tried here!
Sublime Doughnut Burger– Made with cheddar, caramelized onion, applewood bacon, and two sublime doughnuts- $14- This is not a joke- this burger is literally served on a warm, glazed donut!! This was so amazing that I basically want to eat all of my burgers on donuts now. This is a dish that Cypress is known for and you NEED to try it!
weet Potato “Nachos”– Made with sweet waffle fries, blue cheese, cheddar, green onion, sriracha, bacon, and sriracha ranch- $10- I am in love with these fries. They’re spicy, sweet, and delicious.S
Black + Blue Chicken Salad– Made with blackened chicken, mixed greens, grape tomatoes, red onion, and blue cheese dressing- $11- I love that this salad has a ton of flavor and is really fresh! Would definitely get this again.
Definitely recommend eating at Cypress! I haven’t met anyone who doesn’t like eating here! Even celebrities come here when they’re in Atlanta (see Shay Mitchell’s video here). Paid parking is on the street but if you can’t find any by the restaurant you can pay to park on West Peachtree!
