How many of you are always out of ideas for date night or a fun girl’s night out? Well Grain, a neighborhood drink shop located in Midtown, has two Cocktail-Making Classes remaining for this season! I personally love this spot and previously did a review on it (see it here). I had the privilege of attending one of the classes in November and the other classes are available on December 17th & January 21st. “For $59 per couple [or pair], participants will learn how to make a specialty cocktail, receive one craft cocktail each, & nosh on a sampling of light, seasonal bites from the kitchen. As an added bonus, each class will include house-made gifts to take home.” Classes are at 2 p.m. & participants that stay after class will receive 20% off of a second cocktail. I really enjoyed the class that I attended. One thing to note is that we didn’t actually make the drink ourselves but were rather given the drinks and then listened to the process of how they were created. I love that Grain combined the drinks with other appetizers and treats and provided cool information but also gave us free time to chat with our friend/date. Jonathan the manager is also open to questions so it’s a great opportunity to learn about making cocktails. This is a great activity for two people and the place is really cute!
