Brunch: Another Broken Egg Cafe

Processed with VSCO with c1 presetHey everyone! If you’re a brunch lover like me then you’ve probably heard of the popular spot called Another Broken Egg Cafe! One just opened in Roswell a few weeks ago and my friend Isabella and I went to try it out! They serve “a variety of omelets and pancakes, to heart-healthy and gluten-free options, [and a] selection of farm-fresh menu items.” Here’s everything we tried!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOrange Juice & Iced Coffee– We started with some nice refreshments while we waited for our meal. I really liked that my coffee came in a mason jar and was nice and milky!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERACinnamon Roll French Toast– Thick sliced cinnamon roll grilled with French toast batter, layered with cream cheese icing, Bananas Foster sauce, mixed berries & whipped cream- Oh my goodness this was heavenly. It’s perfectly doughy and sweet- I’ll definitely be back for this dish!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAHey Lucy!! Omelette– (front)- Avocado, breakfast chorizo, sautĂ©ed onions,  green chilies with Cheddar-Jack, Sour cream, & salsa sides- This was delicious and I loved the combination of flavors. I was so stuffed eating this- I wish I could’ve finished it! The potatoes also had the perfect amount of crunch and salt- love!

Scramble– (back)- I can’t remember the exact name of Isabella’s dish because it was a special on the menu but it was similar to the Huevos Rancheros dish! It included an engligh muffin, two over medium eggs, avocado, mild green chiles, and country potatoes. She really enjoyed this dish!

Biscuit Beignets– Southern style with powdered sugar & honey marmalade- This was just as amazing as it sounds. The beignets are warm and the sugar melts in your mouth. I seriously need to go back for these too!

I think you can tell that we really liked basically everything we tried and that I’m practically drooling just thinking about all of this food. It’s reasonably priced, so filling, and tasteful! Definitely check out this place next time you’re in Roswell.
