New Years Eve Events in Atlanta- 2017

Who else is excited to celebrate New Years Eve out on the town this year? I’ve had a few friends and followers ask me about what events will be going on Dec 31st so I wanted to share them with you! Although there are several more events going on than what I listed below, I only wanted to share the ones that I think would be worth your time/ where you get something in return for the price.

1) New Beers Eve

“Join us for New Beers Eve to wrap up 2017 at Front Page News in Little Five Points beginning at 9pm. This all inclusive party will have an appetizer buffet, well liquor drinks, house wine, & over 40 beer choices. Shots and premium options will be available for an up-charge. The Geeks Band and DJ Qtip will help us ring in the new year on the dance floor. Open bar ends at 1am and turns into a cash bar until 2am.” I went to this event two years ago and had a blast! Highly recommend!

“This New Year’s Eve diners can celebrate at Atlas, as the acclaimed restaurant will be hosting a special New Year’s Eve dinner featuring a four-course prix fixe menu created by Executive Chef Chris Grossman. Celebrating the very best in seasonal American cuisine and bringing out all the stops just for the occasion, revelers can take advantage of a food-infused evening on Sunday, December 31, during three separate seatings, including a special champagne toast at midnight and more, for $150 per person. “This New Year’s Eve, join Midtown’s sexiest steakhouse for an unforgettable New Year’s celebration ball. Not only are partygoers invited to enjoy a selection of seasonal specials created by Executive Chef Andrea Montobbio from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., but they can also take advantage of a three-hour premium open bar beginning at 9 p.m. Music for the evening will be provided by DJ Ree de la Vega and revelers will be treated to complimentary New Year’s Eve party favors, a champagne toast at midnight, and much more. Dinner reservations are also available without the premium bar tickets for a $100 minimum per person.”

4) Yacht Rock Revue for NYE at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park

“Beginning at 9 p.m., partygoers are invited to enjoy an open bar of premium liquor, beer, wine and champagne from Coors Light, Redd’s Apple Ale, Absolut, Jack Daniels, Jack Daniels Winter Jack and El Jimador tequila, along with a range of tasty offerings including hors d’oeuvres, tacos, sliders, fresh sushi flown in from Hawaii, and s’mores.  At midnight, guests will be treated to a champagne toast and can dive into a breakfast buffet that includes fresh Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, breakfast burritos, and much more. General Admission tickets begin at $99 for ages 21 and up and covers all food and beverage between 9 p.m. and 2 a.m.  Tickets for the Ultimate VIP Experience are $200 and include champagne, oysters, sushi, and wagyu beef from 8 to 9 p.m. along with the entire Yachty New Year’s Eve party from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m.  Group tickets are also available for purchase with a savings discount of 10% percent when purchased in groups of 20 people or more. unspecified-4(1)5) Hampton + Hudson’s “Dress Up or Dress Down” New Year’s Bash

Open for brunch and dinner as usual, the restaurant is offering their regular menus throughout the day in addition to a special menu for New Year’s Eve dinner-goers. Starting at 5pm, patrons can opt to order a coursed meal or order select dishes from the special menu.
Guests are invited to stay after dinner to enjoy beats from a DJ, a champagne toast at midnight, $5 drink specials and WH Burgers after the clock strikes twelve. Topped with a sunny-side-up egg, the burger is made with Brasstown Beef, American cheese, onion marmalade and a fried potato hash brown “bun.” Guests arriving for drinks and revelry after 8pm will be charged $10 at the door.

6) Atlanta Wine Festivals- New Years Eve

What better way to kick start the New Year than with Atlanta Wine Festivals at City Winery! Starting at 9pm, we will have an open bar with a variety of liquors, beers and of course plenty of wine. A delicious food buffet is included in the ticket price and there will be live music, as well as a DJ to get the party started. Open bar ends at 1am and then cash bars will be open until 2am.”

unspecified-67) Cypress’ Relaxed NYE Celebration

Not in the mood for glitz, glamour and balloon drops this New Year’s Eve? Head to Cypress Street Pint and Plate, one of Atlanta’s most cherished neighborhood haunts, for its laid back New Year’s Eve celebration. Open from 10 a.m. to 2:45 a.m., revelers are invited to belly up to the bar, sit by the fire pit, and mix and mingle with friends while watching college football. Partygoers can also enjoy the regular food menu, extensive craft beer list, $5 well drinks, half priced wine bottles, or can ring in the new year properly by taking advantage of half priced bottles of champagne or $3 champagne by the glass.
