If you still can’t stop listening to EDM music and are daydreaming about dancing all weekend long with your friends, then I’m guessing that you went to Shaky Beats Music Festival last weekend as well! This was a not-to-miss EDM festival in Central Park (ATL) with huge headliners like Kygo, Ludacris, Marshmello, and Zedd (see the full lineup here). With four main stages, a VIP experience, food stands, and more, this was a festival weekend for the books! Check out below for more photos of the festival and for my favorite artists that performed!
Below are my favorite artists from the festival and what I loved most about their sets!
Marshmello– This set had so many well known hits like “Wolves”, “Friends”, “Silence”, and more! I had so much fun dancing to his music and there were so many changing graphics that I couldn’t look away. Can’t wait to see Marshmello again!
Zedd– This set was an absolute party! Zedd brings incredible energy to each and every time that he performs. During his set, he played his famous hits “The Middle”, “Stay”, “I Want You to Know”, “Clarity”, and more! This was definitely a set to sing and dance your heart out to! I’m still not over how incredible it was (definitely my favorite of the festival!)
Autograf– This trio took me by surprise and had such a contagious, positive energy! They mixed in some popular pop and EDM songs and were just straight out jamming. I recommend checking them out next time they’re on a lineup!
Kygo– First off, I want to say how incredibly excited and lucky I felt to see Kygo live since it seems that he tours in Europe more often than he does in the US. Second, he did not disappoint and I found myself singing and dancing to basically every song. To bring it up another notch, he had not one, not two, but FIVE live singers from his tracks actually perform with him. The singers were so insanely talented and truly made the set feel special!
Thank you guys for checking out my recap post! Make sure not to miss Shaky Beats next year!! This festival isn’t one to forget!
