Emily’s Choice: Bartaco

Hi everyone! I went to Bartaco today for lunch to try out the new secret taco which is a lobster taco (available until September)! I’ve reviewed it below as well as a ton of other dishes I love! They have 3 locations in Atlanta (Buckhead, Inman Park, and West Midtown). My personal favorite is the West Midtown location because of the open back patio and the ambience of the string lights! I love Bartaco and hope you check out what I ate today!

Smoke on the Water Cocktail– Made with banhez mezcal, cappelletti aperitivo, watermelon, lemon, and mint- My friend got this cocktail and enjoyed it!

Guava Bartaco Margarita– Made with libelula joven tequila, combier liquer d’orange, agave syrup, and lime juice- I love the house margs at Bartaco! You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors they offer.

Guac+roja+verde Appetizer– $11- If you love guac and salsa, this is a perfect starter for you!

Grilled Corn– Top middle- $2.75- I’m obsessed with this and basically ate the whole bowl myself lol It is a must!

Tacos– Above left- $3.50- From top to bottom, I got the roasted duck taco, the crispy rock shrimp one, and the sesame ribeye taco. I didn’t love the texture of the sesame ribeye taco but I finished the duck and shrimp tacos so fast because they were so good!

Tuna Poke– Above right- $8.50- I love the blend of ingredients and flavors in this dish. The poke is fresh too and I really enjoyed it.

SECRET TACO- Lobster Taco– Made with guacamole, creamy chilled chipotle lobster salad, a citrus sherry vinaigrette, and garnished with a cilantro, onion and fresno chili salad. This taco was so delicious and the lobster was seasoned perfectly. You can get it at Bartaco until September- definitely recommend!

Key Lime Pie in a Jar– $6- For dessert, our waiter picked us this dish and we really enjoyed it! My favorite part was the graham cracker crust on the bottom! I think I still like the churros more than this dessert but you can’t go wrong with either.
