Restaurant: Fudo

There is a new sushi spot in town! Fudo, located at 5070 Peachtree Blvd. Suite# A-100 in Chamblee, offers an extensive menu of contemporary small plates and sushi! They also have a full bar and dark, casual setting which would be great for a lunch or dinner! My friend and I went to check them out earlier this week and reviewed what we tried below:

Dancing with the Stars– $12- Bare Bone Vodka, St. Germain, Aperol, Grapefruit, Lemon Juice, Elder Flower Syrup, Prosecco- Really enjoyed this fruity and refreshing drink!

Seaweed Salad– $5- I get this at every sushi restaurant as an appetizer and this one was great as well!

Over the Rainbow Roll- $12- Salmon, mango, cucumber, topped with white fish, avocado, wasabi lime, white yuzu sauce, and sriracha- The variety of this sushi roll was great as some were topped with white fish and some were topped with avocado. The mango was a nice change up from the fish in the sushi roll as well!

My Idol Roll– $13- Tuna, salmon, mango, avocado, wrapped with soy paper, topped with wasabi lime, red & black tobiko, scallions- This was my friend Katie’s favorite roll we tried! The soy paper added a unique taste I really enjoyed!

Devil Roll- $14- Spicy yellowtail, cilantro, cucumber, topped with yellowtail, salmon, avocado, jalapeno ponzu, serrano peppers, sriracha- This roll was flavorful, spicy, and filled with great ingredients!

Blackpink Roll– $14- Shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, crab salad, avocado, wrapped with pink soy paper, topped with spicy kabayaki sauce- This was my favorite roll because of the sauce and blend of flavors! Also I’m a sucker for pink so a pink soy paper wrap was really unique!

Spicy Tuna in Flatbread Roll- The managers let us preview a roll which will come out in March. This roll was too spicy for my liking but I did like that it was different and filling from the flatbread!
