Edgewood Bars: Church

Hey everyone! Sadly the weekend is over, but I still wanted to share with you what I did on Friday! My friends and I ended up going to Edgewood and checked out a few bars. Edgewood has a bit of a hipster and  older vibe to it; I think of this as the place where grad students and full time employees hang out. The bar we spent the longest time at was Church. This is a nickname for this place because it is actually called Sister Louisa’s Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium”. Now that is a mouth full. Lol. This placed is covered with crazy decorations that seem fair to call anti-religious (Note: a lot of the stuff here might be offensive to some people) and as well quirky little signs and pictures. You will never run out of things to look at here! Also! If it’s your first time here, you can ask them for church robes to wear (makes for a good picture!)

When we went on Friday, it was actually really crowded on the bottom floor so we checked out the second floor which had a hang out area and a ping pong table! There is also a patio area if you prefer to be outside! I did not try any crazy new drinks here or anything but my friend was happily surprised that Bud Lights were only $3 here! Definitely was a cool place to check out!

Let me know what you think of this place if you go!

I do not own the first two pictures.
